Dixon Community Theatre Announces Auditions for Holiday Show “The Little Town of Christmas”
Dixon, CA – Get ready for some holiday magic! Dixon Community Theatre is excited to announce audition dates for its upcoming Christmas production, “The Little Town of Christmas”. We are seeking talented young performers, ages 6-18, as well as two adult roles, to bring this festive and hilarious show to life.
Audition Dates & Location:
- ● Monday, October 28, 6:00-7:30 pm
- ● Tuesday, October 29, 6:00-7:30 pm
- ● Location: Dixon Senior Multi-Use Center, 201 South 1st Street, Dixon, CA
Come and join the fun! No need to memorize anything in advance—just be ready to tell us a short story and read from the script. We want everyone to have a great time at the auditions. It’s all about enjoying theater and sharing a bit of holiday cheer.
Audition Preparation:
- ● 1-Minute Story: Share a funny or interesting story in a storytelling style (memorization not required).
- ● Cold Reading: You’ll also read from the script, with time to familiarize yourself before the audition begins.
We aim to keep things lighthearted and fun. So relax, and show us what you’ve got!

About “The Little Town of Christmas”:
This delightful show features 12 short, hilarious skits set in the quirky and charming town of Christmas. From a pair of bumbling elves to a wisecracking reindeer, you’ll meet a cast of characters guaranteed to spread holiday laughter. Audiences can expect a lighthearted twist on classic Christmas stories like ’Twas the Night Before Christmas and A Christmas Carol, along with a street-corner Santa facing off with a tough little kid.
