Alice’s Wonderland is set against the backdrop of a war weary London in 1919, and Alice finds the world she knew has changed. She and her older sister Lorina have moved to the Liddell family estate to live with their grandmother, who has resided there her entire life. Free spirited and obstinate Alice is having a difficult time navigating the world she now finds herself in and wishes for a different place....

Rehearsals will start in April and will be held in room C304 on the DHS campus. We will have approximately two and a half months from the beginning of rehearsals to the first show dates so we will not have the same time crunch as past productions have experienced.
Fun Activities and Events
As this is an original musical production and it was written to be produced by Dixon Community Theater, we will be promoting it extensively throughout April and May. We are planning various fun community activities like meet and greets, a tea party and an elaborate May Fair float featuring moving mechanical parts, actors dressed in their costumes, giant flowers, and a giant mushroom where the caterpillar will sit. The cast members are encouraged to participate in as many activities as possible.
